If anyone is interested, there is a reasonably new looking working dishwasher outside Number 32, Kanimbla St, Nedlands for the taking. There's a note on it saying it works AOK, but it's just not a great dishwasher.

But hey, a dishwasher is a dishwasher.

Opposite there's some Sony Betacam stuff too.
