theducksI think the last time I updated was thursday or something.. ahh well. I've been playing a Quake III mod called Urban Terror a lot. It's very funky:) Installing it was.. interesting. Co-worker downloaded it onto his mac and his PC. I copied it from his mac running OS9 to my mac running OSX. I try unstuffing it on my mac and parts of it didn't work.. so I copied it onto a Sun, and unzipped it on there, then copied it back onto my Mac.. still no go, but got further.. so we copied some more files off my co-worker's PC onto my Mac, and it worked. Yay :D And then I got a CD burnt on a Linux system and copied some more maps onto my Mac. So to get urban terror working, I use MacOS9, OSX, Solaris, Linux, Windows and an emulated Linux for Windows.. heh. It's a good game. I would have been pissed if it hadn't been after all this effort :)
Thursday night, went out with Dexy, Paul-iinet, Chris-iinet and chris and paul's gf's. We saw Signs. I liiiiiiiiked Signs :) Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but yeah, twas good :)
Friday.. ahh crap. Forgot to put new tapes in the backup system I think.. Hmm. I really should remember this better :) I may go see the Campbells today and stick the tapes in. Ahh well. Had a reasonably busy day, didn't do anything terribly interesting tho, so I'll spare you all. My spiffy new keyboard arrived just as I was about to leave, so that was good :D Rushed home, got changed, dropped off my spiffy new keyboard and equally spiffy laptop, and then rushed out again to catch a bus to Roz's place for dinner. Had some nice noodly stuff and ice cream cake. Mark and his GF came over too, and we watched LOTR. Mmm LOTR. Then Mark was nice and gave me a lift home, cause it was 1:30AM :) Hehe.
And here I am at 11:50 the next morning *yawn* :)
