I'm Rednaxela. I'm about 37. I was born in Australia, and have spent lots of my life there. Or in Canada, somewhere I've had a thing for for a long time. Since I was 6 and watched "You Can't do that on Television", or even longer, since I was about 3 or 4 and got a tapes of Fred Penner, Raffi and Sharon, Louis and Brahm from my uncle and aunty who lived in Vancouver.

I lived in London Ontario for about 10 months in 1998/99 on Student Exchange, then again for 2 months on holidays in 2002 and yet again in 2003 for a month or so, and have since stopped by for about a week in 2006, 2007 and 2009. I had an awesome time going to university there, and also on my return visits.

In 2008, I got married to the lovely lizbyrd, and we decided to take that "working holiday" we'd been talking about for years, so in early 2009, we quit our jobs and moved to Vancouver. Like in Perth, I worked at a University and ran the Systems Operations team for their central group, looking after ~2000 servers. Then I worked as a consultant for 4 years, then we got Canadian Citizenship.. then we got bored (it's a little more complex than that..) and moved back to Perth, and now I work for a SAN/NAS vendor.

(Brain) Next to nil.
(Pinky) Well, that's exactly what I'm thinking, too.
(Brain) Therefore, you *are* pondering what I'm pondering.
