theducksHmm took old mac into work, with the intention of taking it to the UCC tomorrow.. but I got offered money for it before it even got there. Perhaps out of the buyer's spite of the UCC, perhaps he actually wanted it.. oh well :) So anyway, got SOME money for it :) Mmm money and having less computing goods :D
Also, new Cisco arrived at work today. Sexy Sisco! :D Well not really, just a 2950-24T, but still pretty nice. Set it up today and plugged it in to replace a 2950-24 (no T!) .. which mostly worked. Till I asked my router to tell me about this device.. and well.. yes, I sorta crashed it.. ewpsies. So no network for the department for about 5 mins while it restarted. And then I needed to restart our firewall cause some of the keys had been held down for months, so the login buffer got full and died.. so I didn't have a console, which is a pain when you're doing network stuff ;> Ahh well. All fixed up. Except the firewall wasn't routing one of our new subnets.. heh. Minor problem ;)
