Dialup bad.. ADSL goood.
Aug. 6th, 2001 09:27 pmI've been having problems staying connected lately. My connections longest times have gone down from like 3 days.. to my mom neediing to reconnect 6 times today. So that's not much over a day, but at 25c each call, it adds up over the month.
Oh, and surprise surprise, they're also my telco. It's not exactly in their best interests for me to keep the number of calls I need to make to a minimum now is it? Hmm.
In the last 6 months, my monthly internet line bill had gone up from about $37 to about $57/month. ADSL is $77/month. It's not a huge difference, and I get like snotload faster speeds :)
Hmmm. Will have to look into the logistics of this.
