Left home late this morning.. was drooling some more over digital cameras. I'm very much liking the
Canon Power Shot G2. Looks very good. Was actually think of getting it today, but in the end I decided to just go to work. Left work early to go visit cousin-simon.. he got his iBook back from being repaired.. it took them *3* months. Unk. And it had a different (bigger) drive in it.. so he lost all his stuff. Thankfully he had recentish backups. As part of its repairs, it went to Japan..
Anyway, so I went round and put OS9.2.1 and OSX 10.1.1 on it. He's liking that. I also setup DHCP on his brother's iMac, so they can easily do internet connection sharing.. and as a side effect, I get to also use DHCP there.. so I can plug and play at all three places I usually use my iBook. Hehe. I was getting bored of manually changing the settings on my iBook every time I went there. Hmm do you think I might be a biiiiiit of a geek? no, really.
Actually, on that subject, I want to get a non computing hobby or something. I'm thinking about doing model cars. Hmm tho, what do I do wih them after I make them? :P Or I might do some more renewing of my book collection and do some more novel reading. Or exercise. I feel loose enough whenever I do any physical activity, but I wouldn't miiind loosing a bit of weight. This would help both the bored-geeky-alex and also be good for my health. Tho speaking of which, I had a cold about a month ago, and have been having problems breathing since then. Gah. Yay for Ventolin, but I just want to be able to breeeath again normally :P it feels like it's getting easier, so I live in hope I'll be fine again soon :P
So that's my day :)
Norwegian reletives are coming tomorrow. Their planning skills are shocking. They deserve to be left out in the middle of the badlands of Perth and made to find their way back here ;p Mom's gone a bit mental over the whole thing.
