(no subject)

Had a good day today. Made some really good progress in my account admin project. Should be finished next week. So funky to actually see it take shape. Writing big web applications is like playing tennis. You write lots of little bits of code, and it's like hitting a ball and it rolling away, if it works, and it's like missing the server when it doesn't work. As you get little bits of code working together, it's like a volley, where you and your partner (the code) hit the ball back and forth more and more as it keeps working ;)

Anyway, person wise, I went to see a friend from primary school/high school who lives near to work at lunch and spent about an hour and a half with him and his girlfriend catching up. Fun times. I'm a bit slow about getting to see people sometimes. Doh. I go past his house about once a week, and it's taken me this long to actually arrange to see him. I've seen him several times on campus, and outside his house, but this is the first time I actually went in there :)

And now, it's the weekend. Yay :D

tho I'm not doing anything :P heheh
