So like, hi :)

I'm in Vancouver. Flight was short. Wait to get on the fricken plane was huge. I lines up for checkin for an 8:45 flight at 7:45 and was third last on the plane. Sheesh.

Coming off in Vancouver, my luggage was there waiting for me when I got to the belt. It looks like there were only 6 people going to Vancouver, with everyone else going on to places in south-east Asia.

Tomorrow Ima go look round downtown and see what's happenin' in this here town.

Boo I miss London :(

So last night, the people I'm staying with had a dinner party, and it was cool, cause it was mostly people around my age. I'm staying with Cath and Les V., and their two boys Cam (21?) and David (17). They also have a sister Janet (24), but she's in England, which is a shame, cause she's really cool. Cath is the Dean of Business at a college here in BC, and Les is a Doctor. Cath used to run the international studies centre at a university here.

Anyway, at the party were Cam and David's cousin Nick (22), four french students (3 girls, one guy) from the college where Cath works, and the daughter (19) of someone who did Cath's old job, but at Queens. So we had a fun dinner party. Nick's mom Nancy also came over. His dad's a little busy working in Victoria, so I don't know that I'll see him. For those of you who know, yes, I am talking about who you think I'm talking about. After dinner, we young-uns went to one of Vancouver's beaches, and hung out there for a while. David brought his guitar and we all did some singing and merryment making. Heheh. I took lots of pictures, which are hidden in the lj-cut :) They needed to drop David off so he could do an assignment due today, and since it was 3AM my time, I came back here too and went to sleep.

Don't know what I'll do today.. proabably go into downtown and have a look around :)
