(no subject)

So, as mentioned by sammers, and in the media and stuff, today is/was System Administrator Appreciation Day :) We got a few emails at work from staff/students "appreciating" us :) Hehe. That was nice.

Also nice today, the last day of the first year students using unix class was yesterday, not today, so I didn't have to lead more poor innocent souls to their doom :) Even more nice stuff, we went to lunch at the pizza place, and stuff ourselves on classic italian style pizza (tho I did have hawaiian ;) I also went to the campus computer store and drooled over thier TiBook. It's the slow version, but still fast :P

And now I'm reaaaally tired, so sleepies time!

Had a good time in town today. Stopped off at coles, my old work, on the way in.. saw a friend I hadn't seen for aaages.. we had a bit of a talk, I went in and got soup in packets, and went into town. Found a naitonal geographic magazine from 1982 which has a picture of one of my friends in it, aged 3 (her aged 23 - in blue.. hasn't got much taller :) Did some more wandering around.

As often happens, I was looking where I was going, and saw Judit, as mentioned here and here and here. She and I had a bit of a quick chat, but doh, I forgot to ask if I could take a photo of her and her boyfriend .. only one I have of her is of both of us looking really daggy in 1995 dressed up for some ball.. and no, you're not all seeing that :P I erm.. don't know where my scan of it is.. that's right :) Ahh well. Not really that important I guess :P
