Was up just a little bit late lasgt night, so I didn't wake up till about 9:30, much to the dismay of grandma and dad. Oh well :P Had a shower ande breakfast.. then went out shopping. Went to a brisbane J+B HiFi.. not as big as the Perth one, but it had a lot of Home Theatre stuff that the perth one didn't have.. pretty nifty. I bought the new Special Edition Speed DVD.. tis very cool. Originally it was $50.. I saw it a few places and went pfft.. but I got it for $22 :) It has a verrrry funny commentary from the writer and producer.. pointing out nifty stuff in the movie and talking about it. Turns out they also dislike the soundtrack CD, which I agree with, cause it sucked too :)

Anyway, we also went to the Chermside Shopping Centre.. it's HUGE.. I've seen a fair few shopping centres in my day, and this is one of the biggest. And the coolest part is that it has a Warner Bros Store! and we know what they sell right? sc00by s0cks!! I bought.. erm.. a few pairs of socks, and two polo shirts, one with scooby and one with daffy on it. We're going back tomorrow for some other stuff.. I think I might buy some of the LOTR:TTT stuff they have.. like The One Ring in Brass on a display stand for $40. Pretty good deal :)

Tomorrow.. hmm friend patrick is in Brisbane, so we might meet up. I called him earlier today and said hi.. then tonight at about 8:45 I got a call from an unlisted number, so I thought that might be him.. but not so. Twas a member of WA's finest Police force asking me questions about an accident I was listed as a witness to about 3 months ago.. heh. He's pretty dedicated, working at 6:45 at night.. sheesh

Mmmm region free DVD

Yay.. there's finally a region free patch for my TiBook's DVD drive :-D And it works too. Eeexcellent.

Brisbane has some funny street names. I went past a place called "Pfingst St" today.. god knows how you pronounce that :)
