Jan. 8th, 2003 09:36 pmBoss was back today, so actually had to work. boo :P Ok, just kidding, I was working monday and tuesday. The upside was I got a lift home with him, so I left work at 6PM and got home at 6:15. Mmm. Cars are expensive and licenses are hard to get :/
Did general consulting-with-staff crap today ;) Not too bad, but talked to too many people to detail ;p After lunch I worked out how to fix a network problem.. in the Geography department. Hehe. Hopefully they'll do it properly and it'll all be good.
After that, I installed BeOS on one of the partitions on my PC. Looks reasonable funky I guess ;) Also today I was midly scared by Apple's new behemoth of a 17 inch laptop. Ye gods it's big. I also installed Safari, Apple's new anti microsoft web browser, and Apple's Accelerated X11 server. Both work better than I would imagine ;)
Now all I need for mac is Medal of Honour: Allied Assult Spearhead, and I can say I don't need a PC.
In other news, I plan to leave for Canada in 127 days :D Japan first, then Canada, then Europe. Mmm.. 19 hours in an aircraft ;p Hehe, actually it won't be that bad. 8 hours to Japan, then probably 9 to Vancouver, stay there for a few days, then Ontario (4 hours or something?), Ontario for.. meh.. month or so probably, then England, week or so there, then Germany I think, probably stop off in Singapore on the way back too.
Eeexcellent. More passport stamps ;p And less money to have in bank account! :P But it's all good.
