(no subject)

Work wasn't as bad as I expected.. we found what went BOOM.. twas a big capacitor in a power supply of a pretty new machine.. supplier coming out today to replace it.. the server that didn't come back up.. it had a new kernel, and no-one had tested it.. and so it didn't have support for it's scsi controller compiled into the kernel, and thus couldn't load it's root disk.. oops :) Got a new kernel, compiled it up properly, tested it a few times, and hey presto all good.

In other news.. 19 sleeps! :D
