Anyway.. today I did some network fix0ring, but there's still one niggling issue.. bleh. Oh well. I also reinstalled Debian on my desktop PC, and got USB keyboards working. mmm goodness. hdparm -d1 is a great feature. Speeds things up so much. In other news, it turns out that the people we bought the VLSI software from forgot to give us the license key for one of the features, and thus I spent all of yesterday chasing ghosts. Gah! Stupidheads. Sent out an email to all undergrads today with some updates about our systems and thingies like that. Only really interesting if you're an EECE undergrad, and if you are, you've already got the email ;p

Also today, I found out that my "relatives" in Vancouver have a full house while I'm there, so I'm staying here instead and busing to and from their place, which isn't so bad. I'm also starting to make up my travel file with plans etc in, but I can't fricken print stuff.. it spools then just disappears.. great. See? This shit even happens to sysadmins ;p

Heh, also, I rewrote a small part of Arachnet's billing system in perl cause Mike asked nicely. In other news, I'm trying to convince Arach to run a MOHAA:Spearhead server ;>Bwa ha ha etc.

Tomorrow! going away lunch for Phil from CS and I'm sorta tagging along for the event ;p Having piiiizzza. Mmmm.
