May. 27th, 2003 08:08 amMmm Akihabara good. I found an 80GB laptop HD for Y34000, which is about AU$470, which is damn cheap :D I want that, and a mini USB hub, and a USB key, and a firewire enclosure and an ipod.. and and and.. etc. Both very awake and bored at 11PM, I took the tibook to bits to see how easy it was to change the HD, the result being yes, yes it is :) So perhaps with all this stuff I want to get, Akihabara bad :)
Going to Ginza today after rush hour, then to Akihabara again :D Hehehe
Reading my guidebook a bit more.. apparently sunday is the fun time to see the natives at play, but oh well, maybe I'll be back again. Uh, tho I will stay somewhere different.. I got a "western" room, which is not really any different from a Japanese one.. the mattress is about 6cms thick on a wood base, and the pillow is made of rice or something. My TV doesn't work, but that's ok, cause, well, I no speak Japanese (tho I have been using some little bits, to say please and thanks and stuff like that, but mostly lots of gesturing going on ;) Point and present money is a good way of buying stuff ;) Hehe. Another thing, the doors here, especially this hotel, are REALLY low, like eye level for me ;p
