May. 31st, 2003 09:25 amMmm so last full day in Tokyo.. spent it prertty quietly. I got up at about 10AM and hung around here for about an hour before going to Ueno. I saw the Romanov Treasures exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of erm.. Modern Art possibily? Yeah, sounds about right :) Took a bit of a rest for a while and one of the security guards started talking to me in English.. had a chat with him. I don't mind people practising their English with me.. I was even thinking of going to a place called Mickey's Club which is basically free entry for english speakers and everyone else pays a little bit to get in to talk to the gaijins in English :) It sounds like a really good concept. Had bit more of a walk around Ueno Park and then walked to Akihabara.. and bought a 10GB iPod :>
Which should distract me for a while :P I can see why there's a 10 and a 15.. the price difference with the 15 is probably enough to cover the cradle and remote control that the 10 doesn't have :P Bleh for not reading Japanese ;) But they're just extra fruit.. in the long run it won't matter. Heh! As I was walking back to my room tonight I peered in a room and saw someone with a 12 inch powerbook and an iPod and had a bit of a chat. Mmmm many macs in confined space :P iPods rock. I wonder if there will be third party HDD upgrades at some point in the future.. hopefully ;) I have 1.6GB free on this ;p Ahh well.
Spent most of this evening chatting to other people around the place. It's a nice atmosphere here :) So yeah, this post is nothing compared to the previous three. I they were pretty much my creative efforts for the year ;) We'll see what happens when I see lots more new stuff in England I guess.
Sayonara from Japan for now :D
