Ok, and yesterday I forgot to mention that I saw not one concorde, but three of them! Sitting purrty on the runway. Ok, I'm sure you all care. Today I walked from my Hotel to Baker St (Hi Sherlock!) and caught the open top red bus tour.. saw some pretty sights and stuff. Much niftyness.

Now I'm updating from an internet cafe (easyinternet.com) in a Burger King.. with this f*cked up keyboard with trapezoid shaped keys, in addition to the unusual keycap combo keyboards here have anyway. It's most annoying.

Tho not as annoying as all the fricken American tourists! Arrrg. Two of them pushed in front of me in line to get lunch because they lined up at a closed position, and thus thought they should get served before me. Idiots. Not to mention all the loud, obnoxious and poorly dressed ones on tours (if you're 200lbs, please don't wear a gstring and loose pants, kthnx) I don't mean to single out americans.. there were some german kids who pissed me off too at the Cabinent War Room, but just in a kid way. Yeah, anyway, enough sedition for today. I had thought of some other things to write, but now I've forgotten. I'm sure I'll remember at some point, but never get around to actually posting about it.

Well one thing I remember.. in my fits of waking/sleep last night, I had "the dream". I have had this weird dream with a plastic playset of a house and garden floating thru air with a big set of hands around it.. it's just as weird to have as it sounds. Not the weirdness doesn't stop there.. the weirdness continues, in that I remember having had this dream at least once a year since at least 1984.. I really have no idea, and the recurrence of this freaks me mildly. But at least it doesn't tell me to burn things, so I guess it's all good :)

And another.. while watching the news this morning, I was surprised at the openness of the jibes against the US's government from the news program.. one story was about how US chewing gum companies had pressured US congress to pressure Singapore to relax it's ban on chewing gum, now that Singapore and the USA have a free trade agreement, another was about bush's visit to africa, talking about how the South African government isn't funding retroviral drugs for HIV patients.. and how the US was going to give african nations about 25M in aid.. of which 10M will probably be for reduced (but not free) prices on retrovirals.. so really, they're still making a profit for the companies which sell them. A morning talk show was also talking about the picture of bush on the cover of USA Today (this one).. and they had managed to find a picture of clinton taken in the exact same spot. In the words of Kang and Kodos.. "What are you going to do - throw your vote away on a third party candidate?"

Oh and another thought about poor Ladan and Laleh.. that's sad that they both died.. I mean, one dying would have sucked majorly too.. Anyway, yeah..

Might go to Buckingham Palace again. Nifty!

Walked to Buckingham Palace and had a look around outside.. a HUGE crowd was there in their finest clothes waiting to get into one of the queen's garden party's.. like.. easily 10,000 people I'm sure.. Got on the hop-on-hop-off tour again, and finally saw an ARV scooting past. Ok, so I'm a london met police geek.. blame about 12 years of watching the bill :P

The hop-on-hop-off tour also includes a tour around the thames river, so I did that.. very nifty. I also got some more ideas on what to do tomorrow. There's a london-in-wartime museum next to the london dungeon, so I might go to both of those. M'hey.
