(no subject)

Mm so settled back into work I guess :P Spent a fair bit of the day yesterday fitzing around with Linux on an SGI Indy (mmm R5000 Indy) getting a good kernel compiled. Sound works! So I can play obnoxious MP3s with it to annoy co-workers. Excellent! It's quite loud too, which is good. The IndyCam interface isn't working tho.. I can't get the patch to apply. May try manually hax0ring it in sometime. The big problem is that it takes like.. 45 minutes to compile the kernel. And XFree86 is obnoxious for all manner of reasons (xdm crashing, X randomly crashing in a blze of glory etc), and would only be in 8bit anyway, so I removed it. Umm yeah anyway.

Maybe some day I'll have something interesting to write about. Mebbie ;p
