So I actually got everything I set out to do today done.! Amazing. Woke up at 8 to say goobye to mum, had some breakfast, went to UWA, got my computer and firewire drive out of the safe, did a backup, grabbed some lunch, came back, put the firewire drive back in the safe, went into the city, burnt a CD for Sue, she came over for a short bit, grabbed the CD, gave me cake and duck things. I then cleaned up a bit outside and stuff. Called up Kelly, my ole floormate from Western, now studying at Charles Sturt in Bathurst, NSW. I'd been meaning to call her for ages.. but just got her answering machine the last few times, so we actually arranged a time this time ;) Hehe.
Ahh memories. Kelly's one of my more interesting friends, for all manner of reasons. See Kelly in the photo? Ok, well she's also a Customs agent, has a bulletproof vest, firearms training and if she's back in Canada next year working as a Customs officer, she will probably be working armed. I saw Kelly once last year when I was in London, but she was with some other people, so we didn't have much of a chance just to chat like we did tonight. It's nice to hear that she's still going well and is having fun in Australia. I want my friends to be happy and succesful and it sounds like Kelly's well on that track right now, so it's all very nifty :)
Tomorrow.. nothing much planned. Uncle Rob is going to Bali, cause he hates dreary weather.. he'ld rather be going to Vancouver, but apparently there's some stuff going on, so he's going later. Yeah, I can't be more specific either.. who knows what that means :) Sigh.. Canada. Ok, after talking to Kelly for like an hour and a half, I feel homesick for the place again :P Damn Canadian accents. Though Kelly does sound more American than Canadian, but she doesn't like that and tries to sound more Canadian.. heh! No really, she said that.. it's not just me pulling it out of my butt.
Hungry. Need food.
