Oct. 11th, 2003 08:17 pmdid the lease signing thing today. Aside from having to kick ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
davyd a few times ("Mister simpson, shut up, I can't believe you won't shut up..") before we'ld signed the lease, all went well. Kudos however to Davyd, Grahame and Ben for trusting Stephie and myself enough that they'ld sign a 6 month lease on a house they haven't seen. All room assignments went well, there were no conflicts. Yay for that. The lease is pretty anal tho.. no nails, blutack, tape.. etc. Feh :P So no decorations on the walls.. unless I get some of that magic 3M stuff that can be removed from painted surfaces without marking.. I had it stuck on my wall at Western for 8 months.. it really is magic.
We do however need a fridge, and someone to call in the connection of gas and power, and also someone to connect the phone line. Davyd is getting a microwave and her and Stephie have bought a toaster.. yay. the house has a reasonably good condition stove.
As for me moving in.. we have internet access at the house currently, so that's a good thing ;) I do however need a wireless bridge device, but they're only about $149.. I also want a wireless video link thingy too, for foxtel.. I have a wireless remote control extender already. I took measurements of my room, and have been doing a layout, and it looks like everything will fit! Yay :D Ok, now the issue is how to get it there.. Hmmm :) My uncle is coming down to Perth on friday, so I'll move the computer desk and my bookcase then.. as for the bed.. hmmm yeah. i'd like to get that moved sooner. I'll have to look into some expediting of this.
For now, i'm watching Dragnet.. The Next Generation :D Hehe.. Al Bundy as a cop. OMG.. just saw an advert for Kill Bill I.. I'd seen one in Canada I think.. but it looks very cool. So many kick-ass (and ass kicking) movies out now.. Kill Bill, League of Extrodinary Gentlemen.. w00t.
