As we speak,
lizbyrd is on her way to hospital for surgery to remove a tumor from her patella and get a bone graft.. I know, in the big scheme of things it's "not that serious" and there's probably little chance for problem.. but just.. well it sucks to see friends having to have surgery and then there's recovery from the general anesthetic and then she will be on crutches for 6 weeks. For scale, we've only been going out for 7 weeks thus far! Arrg.
I'm also worried because they won't know what sort of tumour it is until after they start the operation.. and if it's agressive they'll end this one today without doing anything and do further tests and schedule another one later this week.
But I'm thinking positive, and that it will be benign ("good") and they'll be able to fix her up good as new today so she can start recovering :]
Sigh. Poor Liz tho
