Dec. 18th, 2005 06:29 pmWow.. the weekend is already over?
Yesterday we went to spot light, bought a table cloth, went to ikea and got a shoe stand and some presents for
stephiepenguin and
davyd, then went to a place called Furniture Bazzar and bought couches. Yay couches! Two chocolate coloured ones. They will be delivered on Thursday, in time for our party the next day. Also went to Bunnings hardware, but none of the Dremel's there particularlly impressed me in terms of price. We then went to mum's place, I got a haircut, then we grabbed some more of my stuff from there. One day we'll get it all ;) Got home, moved the downstairs bookcase into the corner where Amy's desk was. In the process, displaced a bunch of crap off it that was just being stored there onto the floor.
With the downstairs in semi-disarray, this morning proved to be the right time to move the downed tree out of the back yard. Attentive readers will note that the only way to get stuff out of the backyard is through the house. So after about 10 trips to the dumpster that serves as the complex's rubbish bin, the backyard was clear. Huzzah! Was then pointed out to me that the $49 table and chairs I passed over from Bunnings would look good there. Wups. Went into the city, did more christmas shopping, came home. I had a nap on our newly throw-enabled couch. I approve it.
And yes, tomorrow is the last week of work for a while. w00 :)
