Una parte piccola dell'Italia
Feb. 13th, 2006 08:28 pmSo I went into Perth on Sunday. A mostly unremarkable trip, except for one thing. While waiting to cross in front in Wesley Church, my eye was drawn to a bright blue Rolls Royce, with the license plate "Il Padrino" .. sitting in the front seat was a youngish chauffer, in uniform, complete with hat, and next to him was this little old italian man in his sunday best. It's amazing to think about what sort of life he must have led to end up with a Chauffer driven Rolls Royce Spirit. Maybe he was some mafia don back in the old country.
Except, y'know. Google. It belongs to a guy who runs a Pizza Shop. The lack of romance!
In other news, Liz is out at a Swancon meeting.. she left at 6:30.. it's 8:30ish.. I've spent the entire time cleaning the place, getting washing in, etc. Now I'm hungry. Drats it all.
