Whee old!

Firstly, happy birthday to irresistiblyred :D

Secondly, thank you to everyone who has given me birthday wishes. Shout outs go to: lizbyrd, velithya, irresistiblyred, paperishcup, penchaft, fee, ursamajor, kudzita, sonnlich, stephiepenguin (and thank you so much for the mudcakes too.. *drool*), sammers, singularity, azhure, myfyr, maelkann, oliverm and anyone else I seem to have forgotten :)

This weekend was filled with many things, including but not limited to infamyanonymous's awesome pirate party, so I didn't actually organise anything for my friends to celebrate it. velithya is turning 22 next week, and didn't have a 21st.. so we're having a combined 70th party in about 2 weeks. Stay tuned for announcements! Also, I'm hoping to convene a special meeting (at dinner, or possibly breakfast) of the Breakfast Club at some point too. Went out for Lunch with Liz, my mum and her mum yesterday, but that was about it. As far as booty goes, I got a wooden duck from Liz's parents, a copy of New Super Mario Bros for the DS, and a shiny square silver $1 coin celebrating the 50th anniversary of TV in Australia (see here). Yay presents :)

Random ducks

This morning, on our way to work, Elizabeth and I spotted a random all white Muscovy Duck in our back lane. It was still there this afternoon, only someone had put out some water for it.
