I just flew in from Perth..
Apr. 21st, 2007 12:27 pm.. and boy are my arms tired!
So as I posted about a few days, Apple is footing the bill for me to go to WWDC in June. Woo footing! This includes airfare and accomodation and conference registration, all up worth about $6k. So please, buy more Macbooks. Thanks.
Anyway, I figure since I'm going to North America, and it's only another $500 for a flight from San Francisco to Toronto, I should come up and say hi.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
strange, I'm looking at you here especially, since I missed you last time. As much as the idea of flying within America doesn't thrill me with joy, since Apple is footing the bill for most of it, I figure I may as well take a few more flights on my own dime.. (and it really is.. AU$1 = US$0.84 currently, vs US$0.49 when I was last there in 2002)
Current plans are looking like:
(sat) 2007-06-02 - Perth (leave 00:10AM) to San Francisco (arrive 10AM)
(sat) 2007-06-02 - San Francisco (leave 2:55PM) to Toronto (arrive 11PM)
(sun) 2007-06-03 - Sleep (12AM - 10AM). Meet people and do things in the afternoon and evening..
mon or tuesday, head down to London Ont...
(sat) 2007-06-09 - Back to Toronto
(sun) 2007-06-10 - Toronto (leave 3:40PM) to San Francisco (arrive 6PM)
(mon) 2007-06-11 -> 2007-06-15 - Conference
(sat) 2007-06-16 -> 2007-06-17 - Touristy in San Fran, meet up withfunjon and any other others who can make it
(sun) 2007-06-17 - San Francisco (10:40PM) to Perth (arrive 1:15PM tuesday)
lizbyrd and I are also talking of stalking velithya in Tokyo in September, and going to Hong Kong and Singapore on the way there and/or back.
And because we hate the planet, we're also looking at going to Queensland over Christmas. Yay Carbon footprint.
