So this morning I headed into a local BestBuy and had a bit of a look around. lizbyrd will no doubt be pleased to know that I didn't buy anything. The XBox 360 HD-DVD played for $199+tax does seem nifty though (and can apparently be made to work with PCs).

I also had a bit of a look at Wiimotes, which will apparently work with OSX. Do I seem too much like a 3 year old for giggling that the FCC ID for the Wii-mote begins with POO?

All events posted about yesterday have gone according to plan. Sherry was also really nice and took me out to the R.C. Harris Water Treatment plant, and indeed, it was mostly not viewable and all under construction :( But I got a few photos anyway. Also photographed, in 2002, was a sign for OMG Media. They seem to have gone out of business, but I've now seen a property company called WTF Property. I'll have to post that soon.

Currently am killing time until about 3:30, when I'll head down to Toronto's Union Station and catch the train to London.

So the logo for the London 2010 olympics has been unveiled, and a few people think it's a piece of crap. I'm sure it's one of those things that will grow on me. Maybe.

Anyway, the BBC solicited suggestions for a better logo. Aside from getting a Goatse.cx, they also got this one, which features the "running retard" picture from the internet in silhouetteagainst a background of London architecture...

A background I did about 9 months ago for lizvang ! - http://theducks.org/pictures/london-skyline.png - I was able to tell it was mine from the edges on Big Ben. I actually cleaned that up in the final version. I don't mind, but yes, kinda fun to see stuff from your site being re-used in such a way.
