Feb. 16th, 2008 12:29 amSo I now have over 1000 photos of flickr, this is about the 1000th, a photo my great grandfather took in San Francisco during a world trip he did back in 1960. There's also a few more in the set from the opening to the Rome Olympics and Manhattan's skyline in 1960
Anyone in San Fran want to see if they can get a similar photo? It's in Oakland, and the bar is still extant. According to the internets, this photos is geotagged correctly, and they're also CC licenced since the original producer of the work is deceased.
