"A 57-year-old piano tuner has been charged by the state's corruption watchdog with the theft of a grand piano from a Perth university.
It is alleged the man took the instrument from the University of WA's music school more than a decade ago to his workshop for maintenance and sold it for $20,000.
The Corruption and Crime Commission says the charges stem from information from a whistleblower."
wtf..
I mean, I suppose we're in the CCC's ambit due to government funding, and "losing" a grand piano suggests some corruption, but it's still a bit surprising that this charge hasn't come from, say, the police.
