But not in the 4chan mass griefing way, oh no.
They posted some photos they wanted information on (like this one). I was a little curious to see if the information they had posted was correct, since a French person with a name beginning with K is unusual. So I asked if they could post images of the back of that photo.
They decided that since it wasn't as important as the other things they have in the Flickr commons, they should open another account to post it from, and thus the Smithsonian Institution Archives flickr account was born. With one scan.
So there ya go.
