Oct. 24th, 2009 10:28 pmRented a car today to do some shopping at IKEA. Got a sub-compact 3 door car of some sort. I felt pretty dangerous driving it.. such a small turning circle, and so quick.
Amazingly(?) it had enough room in the back for a table+4 chairs from IKEA, as well as a bunch of other stuff. Very handy.
Eliz's friend Nome came over and we did lots of furniture assembly. Our house now feels more complete. Went out to dinner with Nome and his gf. She's nuts, and funny. Very enjoyable night.
Did a bit of shopping before returning the car. Eliz vetoed the plastic bamboo, even though it would be awesome.
Returned car and caught the Canada line home. 40kms driving = $1.90 in fuel.
