What a two weeks it's been eh people?
Mar. 18th, 2020 06:36 amToday is Wednesday. My life revolves around Wednesdays, generally speaking. I got my job to look after a big orange loving company here in Perth, and we've worked out that I spend Wednesdays there with their staff, chatting about problems, giving them chocolates, etc. So when I travel, I usually leave on Wednesday night (or Thursday) and get back on Tuesdays. Wednesday is my "big day".
Except, of course, I'm home today. I got notified on Sunday by said big orange loving company not to attend until further notice, which is totally fair - I'm a big fan of #staythefuckathome for curve flattening, and was planning on doing so anyway. Last wednesday, I bought another (small) freezer. This wednesday, you can't buy freezers anymore apparently. They're out of stock at most places. Thursday night I stocked it up. Last wednesday, there were things on supermarket shelves. Now there apparently isn't.
On Feb 27 (a thursday, for those playing at home), I became concerned about potential future directions and did some contingency shopping of dry goods, so we are good for a lot of things currently not available, but it won't last forever, and I hope the blip on food availability calms down pretty soon..
