hey there! if the downtown hostel is anything like the jericho beach hostel, where i actually lived for a few weeks in 1998 while waiting for my grad residence apartment to open up at ubc, then you'll be just fine.
god, i miss the vancouver public transit system. here in urban-ghetto-hickville western massachusetts, i can't go anywhere; i walk the five minutes to work and back, and that's about it.
...actually, it's not that i can't go anywhere in pittsfield, it's that there's nowhere to go. GOD i miss vancouver sometimes.
