theducksMmm.. spent most of yesterday doing a nasty WinXP install, the requirements of the setup were about 2 fricken pages of printed text long.. so I think I'll be doing it most of today too :P but it's easier than installing something then having to come back over the next few weeks to do other installs of software on it.
Had a pub lunch with quite a few people as a sort of welcome back thing (and sort of 'it's thursday, lets go out for lunch thing :). Had a nice fish and chips, but they didn't have any lemon! How can you truely enjoy fish and chips without lemon?? I ask you this! In attendance at lunch were Tom, Simon, Leonie, Jenny, Kelly, Toivo, Adrian, tony, Stuart, Johnathan and Cameron.. not many at all :) Hehe.

pennae's friends got a powerbook, and she asked me if a weird frictionless sensation while passing your fingers over the case was normal, to which I answer honestly, yes, yes it is, but only because it's vapourising the moisture from your fingers because it wasn't earthed properly :> Bwaha. To which young penny replied that she would like and ibook, with a plastic case. I wouldn't mind another ibook either I guess, they're pretty cool. Powerbooks are nifty too tho :)
