So I'm an idiot..

I spent about an hour trying to get a tap fitting off, to install the dishwasher.. (with a try from

oliverm turns it the other way. After initially listening to me and turning it the same way I was trying, we checked the other fitting for the tap.. Yeah, you guessed it.

Fortunately all turned out well in the end. Dishwashers for the win.

lizbyrd made a neat roasty dinner for she and I and

oliverm and

maelkann. Yay byrds :) We then played Apples to Apples. It's very cool :)

On the weekend, Liz and I went into the Megamart closing down sales. 10% off everything, since the store wasn't opening again after Sunday, due to a merger/sell off. I got a $56 VGA cable.. which is expensive, yes, but it does make the video signal from the G4 Cube usable. Yay! We also bought a Logitech Harmony remote control.. It's very cute.. but not terribly cheap. Took a /LOT/ of setup, but it is VERY cool :)

I was SO CLOSE to buying Apples to Apples when I was in Denver...never played it before but it looked fun. Was lured away from fruity goodness, however, by a card game called 'Set' that I was absolutely addicted to in NZ...hmmm, must play that with someone someday soon...

My last exam is the 24th. When's the next games day? ;)
