So I'm an idiot..
I spent about an hour trying to get a tap fitting off, to install the dishwasher.. (with a try from![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
greyreviews).. oliverm turns it the other way. After initially listening to me and turning it the same way I was trying, we checked the other fitting for the tap.. Yeah, you guessed it.
Fortunately all turned out well in the end. Dishwashers for the win.lizbyrd made a neat roasty dinner for she and I and oliverm and maelkann. Yay byrds :) We then played Apples to Apples. It's very cool :)
On the weekend, Liz and I went into the Megamart closing down sales. 10% off everything, since the store wasn't opening again after Sunday, due to a merger/sell off. I got a $56 VGA cable.. which is expensive, yes, but it does make the video signal from the G4 Cube usable. Yay! We also bought a Logitech Harmony remote control.. It's very cute.. but not terribly cheap. Took a /LOT/ of setup, but it is VERY cool :)
