Those who do not learn from history..

So [livejournal.com profile] sonnlich was talking about the fun she has with her ISP, Multiline. Let me tell you about Multiline.. I knew them back in about 1994, when they were "1990 Multiline". All the rage they were, with their 20 phone lines. I used to sell them modems. Anyway, I ran a BBS back in the day with a friend, so I figured I'd have a bit of a google..

There are still three mentions of it online! Admittedly, all are very old files, but still.. just goes to show that nothing vanishes without a trace ;) We became an ISP back in 1995 (fear), got about 40 customers and then got bought out by wantree, who in turn got bought out by iinet :P

Multiline was ok. Ironically the strongest memory I have is the terminal emulator I was using. I spent most of my time on another BBS, but I'm struggling to remember the name. Infoline?

I used to use Adams Apple (Mac BBS :D) as well as Snow Leopard, which became it.com.au.. I can't remember anything else from that era, but I do remember there were a lot of BBS's in Perth back in the early 90s.
