I used to work in an investment/share broking company, and I watched as Aristocrat Leisure went from $6 to $0.60C overnight (yep - they lost $2 billion over night or something). If I had bought 1 thousand shares for the bargain basement price of $600, I would now have shares worth $130,000. (of course, I would have probably sold them when they were worth about $7/share..).
If I'd bought 10,000 (which I could have at the time) for $6000... well, work it out.
