In Singapore

We made to Singapore! Huzzah! We flew on 9V-SKE, the 5th Airbus A380 in commercial service. Oh well. Oh, and it was FULL. No spare seats at all.

Got to hotel, and as described by lizbyrd initially got put in a pretty crappy twin single room, but were able to shower and sleep at least. They told us to come down after we had slept and they would see what they had available.

After napping, I had a chat to the shift manager who was at the desk, and she put us in a double room. Upon heading up to the room, it seems it is a premier club king room. On the 21st floor. This room is 5 stars plus. It's about the size of our living room. I'm really impressed. It's surprising that they have both 5 and 2 star rooms in the one hotel.

Anyway, this is awesome.

It's worse than that.. the iPods are currently priced on a AUD=USD$0.90 basis. And it's now what.. 70c? Singapore's slightly higher prices now suck with a dollar on parity, instead of $1.30. Gah.

We're after a new iPod Touch 32GB, and have worked out that it will cost AUD$100 MORE to buy it here.
