It strikes me that shifting the Mac mini's power connector to Magsafe would have been a nice touch.
I can't say I agree with you. MagSafe works on laptops because they have batteries. It's pretty easy to knock a MagSafe connector out (by design), so I imagine that would get pretty frustrating on a computer powered directly from the mains.
