Dear lazyweb [voip]

Dear Lazyweb,

When we vacate our domicile current domicile and head to my mum's, I'd like to move our old number to a VOIP provider. Can I do this? With this VOIP provider, I'd also like a box I can take to Canada and plug a phone into. What should I use for this?

Only a few VOIP providers can do this, so you'll need to do some research. I have a list of them from when DAA moved to VOIP a few years ago.

The box you want is called an Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) http://voip-info.org/wiki/view/Analog+Telephone+Adapters
