The US and Pakistan have a rather tangled relationship. Pakistan is a poor country constantly at risk of implosion, that receives conditional aid and institutional support from the US government, but also has a strong political constituency (highly regionalised) in favour of radical Islam.
One presumes neither Pakistan nor the US will be to eager to crow about how they collaborated with the other to achieve Bin Laden's death. Everyone wants to give the credit to Obama!
