Well.. I'm back and still alive. I can't feel half my face stuff, but ya get that, Anesthetic hasnt worn off yet, so 'm still feeling not bad. IV sedation wasn't as strong as I had expected, I was able to pay attention if I wantedm but I just layed back, closed my eyes and thought of.. well.. not much actually. Didn't get keep my teeth, UWA uses them for something, so I agreed to let them have them :)

Meep meep :)

Good to hear you're okay......I wonder what UWA does with the teeth though....

I think there's legal reasons why you can't keep any sort of body part you have surgically removed. At least, that's what people have told me. Are they afraid you'd sell it? I'm not really sure.

in any case, feel better soon alex :)

I was awake, too. They gave me gas, and I was awake, but not exactly conscious, if you get my meaning. I was told pre-surgery that the patient had to be awake for mouth-opening and non-tongue-swallowing purposes. :)

Woo, Alex!

glad to see it wasn't so bad for ya! :) I had six teeth yanked out a couple years ago but I had to be put out for certain reasons... so it was surgery for me. I was kept conscious only until they got the breathing tube in right then I was put out. That was the worst part of the surgery but at least it was out of the way first! :) Enjoy the painkillers! lol
