theducksEeeee.. so apparently you have to push the jack handle down further.. mum was being too paranoid and wouldn't let me touch it :P Pfft :)
So after the mechanic guy had gone (5 mins :P) I did some driving practise.. Heheh. Scary. As seen in this picture, the car isn't going to get more damaged, so I'm not too worried. Plus I'm ok at it :P But owies.. the car is like 2 metric tonnes of steel, and doesn't have power steering.. for those of you unfamiliar with driving non powersteering cars.. uhm yeah, it's a pain. My arms hurt. But I figure that if I can drive this car, I can drive pretty much anything.. uhm, like tanks and stuff.. hehe. The common area around our units makes a good obstacle course.. there's a tree in the middle, and our place is at the top of a hill, so there's that.. and our garage (or car-hole, if you will) is open, so there's 6 posts that make up it's edges.. three on each side. So ya have to miss them too.. I had fun reversing, doing 3 point turns, driving into the garage forwards and backwards etc :) Mmm confidence building.
