Stupid ISP with stupid transparent proxies. The proxy server went down last night, so from 10PM I couldn't access any webpages. And the worst thing is, I can't turn it off.

"Given that the universe is infinate.."
"yes?"
"And that the internet is infinate.."
"yes..."
"Why do you think a proxy helps?"

Yeah, I have the same problem with my ISP. It hasn't gone down yet, but they have it configured in such a way that it interferes with the web authentication stuff at work. I've asked several times for them to remove me from the proxy, but they haven't yet (well, if my IP address has a 101 in it, they haven't :).
