Mmmm TiBook

So I finally did it.. I bought a Powerbook G4 :D

Well, more accuratly, UWA bought a powerbook, and they take money out of my pay each week until I have paid it back.

And what's better is that I'm typing on it now :D

I got it from a shop called Generation Mac, instead of on-campus, because the campus store is full of weenies, and wouldn't be able to actually physically supply for 8 - 14 days. Whereas this store.. quoted at 11AM, quote submitted to HR at 2PM. Purchase order available at 4PM. Purchase order collected, rushed to the store, laptop picked up at 4:45PM

Man, you are a lucky duck.

Even if your work DID buy it for you and you're paying them back.

There is no way i could afford a TiBook. And that thing looks very cool.

I know.. it's pretty ferkin not-cheap. The only was I was able to convince myself to get it was by the salary sacrafice thing. I'm not outlaying a huge amount, and don't have to get out cash or bank cheque to cover that amount... I just end up with a bit less in my pay each week :)
