mm pocky!

I got some stuff Sue sent me from Japan last week.. I just tried these things called "Pocky" .. they're like straight pretzels with chocolate on.. she sent me some hello kitty ones, with strawberry chocolate on them.. they were kinda nice.. Mum and I just ate them all.

I used to eat them in Singapore! They're quite yummy.

oh my god alex ... they don't sell pocky in australia?? here we have chocolate, white chocolate, hazelnut, strawberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, almond, green tea, etc etc ... yum yum ... and also salty kinds. my roommates and just bought two boxes of giant pocky ... they look exactly like the small ones but each pocky is like super big and really thick, hehe.

POCKY!!!

if you can, get your hands on a kinda called "fran" ... i think it's from meiji though i might be wrong ... their coatings are thicker than all the other brands. and oh you have to try pocky with filling! inside out pocky.

did i just ramble about pocky? jeez.

yes, yes yes yes!

that was my reaction - you've (ducky) never had pocky before? i didn't make you try some when you were over here?!?

i've never tried the salty kinds, but strawberry mousse pocky is my mainstay. mmm.

and yeah, meiji fran is good too, but they stopped stocking it at my japanese market. :(
