mmm luverly.
The USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Sihlhol are back in town, after leaving here 9 days ago and heading for the Persion Gulf. Now consider this, why would you leave a port, then do a u-turn and come back? hmm possibly to restock the ship for an extended period of time away I wonder?
I also feel all warm and fuzzy about the USS Abraham Lincoln being in town. I don't mind all that much that it's powered by a nuclear reator, but it's a real nice feeling to know that less than 15kms (12 miles) from me, there is a huge warship carrying a stack of nuclear weapons, getting ready to head somewhere.. I wonder where. Fremantle is pretty much the only REALLY US friendly and safe port in the Indian Ocean.
