first day of the Linux.conf.au festivities today. Went to a few talks at the Debian and IPv6 miniconfs, then hung out in the terminal room chatting with people and helping a bit. Helped setup the webcam at http://www.linux.conf.au/~webcam/webcam.jpg .. ie climbing on tables and cable-tieing stuff down. Had lunch with Rusty Russel, who wrote IPCHAINS.. mourned for his poor abused powerbook pictured at http://theducks.org/pictures/rustys-powerbookg4.jpg .. look who it is owned by too :> Hehe.

A good ole fun geeky day was had by all.
