Another bit of pre-hockey anthem booing, this time of the American national anthem by fans before a game in Montreal. The article says the NHL are considering not playing the national anthem before games now to avoid people's feelings getting hurt. I think that's a good idea, not so much because of that, but rackin frackin[tm], it's a sports games between two teams, yes there's some frieendly international rivalry, but when you get down to it, it's a team vs team thing, and I think playing national anthems before hockey games is innappropriate.

And hey, it was booed in Montreal.. I mean... dude.. the canadian anthem gets booed in that city a lot too.. they don't discriminate ;>

Why yes...

I am up at 6:30 on a saturday morning after going to bed at 12:12 the previous evening! Thank you for asking :)

Haven't been up to too much lately.. got an electric shock on thursday, but nothing serious.. 48V DC at a reasonably low current :) Who knew that even with the computer uplugged you can still get shocked? Well me, I've done it before.. there are unplesantly common modems for PCs that have a transistor at the top which has line current going thru it ;p Note to self, again, be careful of those bits.

Today mum and I are off to Cunderdin. She's going to a funeral for a town stateswoman or something like that, so not really sad.. she was also 87 ;p I'm off to visit uncle aunt and cousins who live out there for the day.

Australia is pretty big. 320km round trip ;) Hehe.
