Mar. 27th, 2003 10:39 pmWent to an Apple roadshow type thingy today for IT professionals, about integrating MacOSX with your operating environment. Nicely done, bit of food etc. Nothing I didn't already know tho, of course ;) *modest* I got there a bit late, so only got to have one of each type of the cookies. They were very yum, I wish I could have had more.
I think I've been to a few too many of these.. I walk in the room and the two Apple guys look up and say "Hi Alex". Hmm :) Well no, not really that surprising, it was Tibor and Garner, both of whom I've known for about 11 years. Heh, but still! Had a bit of a chat with them and some other people there generally about apple stuff. Good bit of networking, and not the kind with lots of blue cables either. Talked about the latest Apple rumours. It was interesting to hear what rumours they had heard. One of them was quite nifty, brought up when I mentioned the price drop of their 23inch LCD displays, apparently a 30inch is in production.. jeebus. The 23inch model is over half a metre wide.. I am frightened by the possible size of a 30inch LCD screen :)
Lunch tomorrow with Chels, cause she's on holidays and I haven't seen her for like a month or so. I also finally brought my itinery home today, but Imma off to bed now, so I'll update the plan picture later.
