Capitalism in action.
Jul. 1st, 2007 05:45 pmSee this story:
- Lady pays $800 to be first in line at AT&T store
- Plans to buy out store's stock of iPhones with the $100k cash she has and sell them all on eBay for a profit
- Fails to be aware of 1 phone per person limit.
Guy she bought the place in line from? Knew about the limit is my guess :-) He was also still able to buy an iPhone, and didn't have to pay anything for it, thanks to someone who gave him $800 in cash. That's capitalism for you :-) Supply and demand applies to knowledge as well as product.
Also, iPhones on eBay? Most are going unsold, or at just over retail. Ha!
